Sunday May 24 & May 25
Forget hourly swell checks and seasick pills, this year we’re doing the Rottnest Retreat from the comfort, and safety, of our own homes because, well, you know the reason.
Over two days we’ll review each other’s manuscripts and portfolios, we’ll hear from SCBWI founder Lin Oliver in LA, learn a few things from Holden Sheppard, Amie Kaufman, Sally Rippin and Kate & Jol Temple then grab our wines and candles and huddle round our laptops for the 2020 version of the Rottnest Retreat chapel readings, Rotto @ Home – Bedtime Stories.
Peer Group Review sessions, Lin Oliver’s Zoom session and Bedtime Stories are all FREE but registrations are essential.
Workshop/Q&A sessions with Holden Sheppard, Amie Kaufman, Sally Rippin and Kate & Jol Temple are $30 each OR register for all four for $100.
To book all four sessions at the discounted rate of $100, select that option below.
Bookings are open to all SCBWI West members near and far! All you need is a laptop or device and internet connection.
**Please note: After bookings close at 9pm THURSDAY MAY 20, you will be emailed a Zoom link and password for every session you have registered for the next day. These links will take you to “waiting rooms” where your name will be checked off our list before entering the session.
